Kathrine “Katie” Curren is the owner of Curren Law Firm, PLLC, where she provides legal services to individuals, families, and businesses throughout East Mississippi. She is dedicated to serving her clients with integrity and professionalism while helping strengthen the communities she calls home.
Katie earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Writing with a Pre-Law emphasis from Mississippi College before receiving her Juris Doctor from the Mississippi College School of Law. Her legal background and passion for service bring valuable insight to the Community Foundation of East Mississippi Board of Directors.
An active community leader, Katie is a member of First Baptist Church of Union, where she serves on the Kids Committee and Bylaws Committee. She also serves as Wellness Committee Chair for the Mississippi Young Lawyers Association and is President of the Lauderdale County Chapter of the Mississippi Young Lawyers Association.
Katie joined the Community Foundation of East Mississippi Board after learning about the Foundation’s mission and seeing its potential to create meaningful change throughout the region. She is passionate about growing charitable giving and increasing community engagement to expand the Foundation’s impact. Katie and her husband, Seth, live in Union. Outside of work, she enjoys baking and playing tennis.
