Leah Hearn is the Senior Vice President of Operations and Compliance Officer at The Commercial Bank, where she oversees operational strategy, regulatory compliance, and risk management. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Leah has built her career in banking and finance through a commitment to integrity, leadership, and excellence.
Leah earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from The University of Southern Mississippi and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.
In addition to her professional responsibilities, Leah is actively involved in the community. She serves as a facilitator for Leadership Lauderdale, participates in the East Mississippi Business Development Corporation (EMBDC) Ambassador Program, and is a member of Coopers Chapel Church. She also serves on the Jones Walker Bankers Compliance Task Force and previously served on the firm’s Steering Committee.
As a member of the Community Foundation of East Mississippi Board of Directors, Leah brings valuable expertise in financial stewardship, governance, and community leadership to support the Foundation’s mission of strengthening the quality of life across East Mississippi. She and her husband, Matthew, live in Quitman with their son, Noah.
